Position Overview

Senior RF Electrical Engineer

We are in search of a highly skilled, driven, and seasoned Engineer specializing in RF component and circuit design, particularly with a focus on system, circuit, and component design for Receivers and Transmitters in High Reliability Aerospace and Defense sectors.

In this hands-on leadership position, the RF Engineer will take charge of planning, designing, analyzing, simulating, verifying, documenting, supporting, and releasing RF devices for wireless Defense and Space applications. The Senior RF Engineer will play a crucial role in defining and prioritizing our product roadmap and the associated engineering and operational capabilities by collaborating with Customers, Business Development, Sales Channels, and Marketing teams. The ideal candidate must possess the ability to schedule, manage, and execute projects to meet deadlines while effectively communicating program and technical objectives to management and clients.

Essential Qualifications
  • BSEE degree with over 10 years of experience in RF product development and design
  • Proven leadership capabilities
  • Strong organizational and supervisory skills
  • A commitment to excellence and contribution
  • Ability to thrive in a collaborative team environment
  • Experience in high-reliability product engineering, with knowledge of MIL-PRF-38534 and MIL-PRF-38535 being advantageous

The typical base pay range for this role across the U.S. is currently USD $124,400 - $235,700 per year. Starting base pay will depend on relevant experience and skills, training and education, business needs, market demands, the ultimate job duties and requirements, and work location. Skyworks offers a variety of benefits, including access to healthcare options (including a premium-free medical plan), a 401(k) plan with company match, an employee stock purchase plan, and paid time off (including vacation, sick/wellness, and parental leave), among others. Employees may also participate in an incentive plan, with certain roles eligible for additional awards based on individual and/or company performance.
