Position Overview

Senior RF Electrical Engineer

We are in search of a highly skilled, driven, and seasoned Engineer specializing in RF component and circuit design, particularly with a focus on system, circuit, and component design for Receivers and Transmitters in High Reliability Aerospace and Defense sectors.

In this pivotal leadership position, the RF Engineer will oversee the planning, design, analysis, simulation, verification, documentation, support, and production release of RF devices intended for wireless Defense and Space applications. The Senior RF Engineer will play a crucial role in shaping and prioritizing our product strategy and the associated engineering and operational capabilities by engaging with Customers, Business Development, Sales Channels, and Marketing teams. The ideal candidate must possess the ability to schedule, manage, and execute projects effectively to meet deadlines while communicating program and technical objectives to both management and clients.

Essential Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering (BSEE) with over 10 years of experience in RF product development and design
  • Proven leadership capabilities
  • Exceptional organizational and supervisory skills
  • A strong desire to contribute and succeed
  • Ability to thrive in a collaborative team environment
  • Experience in high-reliability product engineering and familiarity with MIL-PRF-38534 and MIL-PRF-38535 standards is advantageous

The typical base salary range for this position across the U.S. is currently USD $124,400 - $235,700 annually. The starting salary will be determined based on relevant experience, skills, education, business requirements, market conditions, and the specific duties of the role. Skyworks offers various salary ranges depending on different work locations in the U.S. Our benefits package includes access to healthcare options (including a premium-free medical plan), a 401(k) plan with company matching, an employee stock purchase plan, paid time off (including vacation, sick leave, and parental leave), among other perks. Employees may also participate in an incentive program, with certain roles eligible for additional awards based on individual and/or company performance.
