Position Summary

We are looking for a Junior Modeling and Simulation Analyst to engage in analytical tasks utilizing agent-based Modeling and Simulation (M&S) tool suites across various military operations. This role is situated within a collaborative analytical team.

Key Responsibilities

  • Perform analyses using one or more community M&S tools.
  • Conduct mission-level evaluations utilizing modeling environments/platforms.
  • Create operational scenarios leveraging community M&S tools.
  • Examine actual military operations across diverse domains, including cyber, space, air, ground, and sea.
  • Plan and coordinate the phases of analytical process development.
  • Demonstrate initiative in determining objectives and corresponding technical methodologies.
  • Address complex challenges through creativity and resourcefulness.
  • Foster collaborative relationships with government clients and other mission stakeholders.
  • Undertake additional responsibilities as assigned.

Qualifications

Required:

  • Eligibility to obtain and maintain a TS/SCI security clearance.
  • Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Physics, or a related field.
  • Experience with MATLAB.
  • Understanding of military operations across cyber, space, air, ground, and sea domains.
  • Aptitude for working in a team-oriented, collaborative setting.
  • Ability to articulate ideas in both technical and user-friendly terms.
  • Self-motivated with a strong attention to detail.

Preferred:

  • Experience in mission-level modeling and simulation.
  • Familiarity with models such as Suppressor, DIADS, AFSIM, or NGTS.

Compensation

The typical compensation range for this position is between $70,000 and $110,000, based on experience, location, and other relevant factors.
