Position Summary
We are currently seeking a Junior Modeling and Simulation Analyst to engage in analytical tasks utilizing agent-based Modeling and Simulation (M&S) tool suites, applicable to a variety of military operations. This role will be part of a collaborative analytical team.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform analysis using community M&S tools
- Conduct mission-level evaluations through modeling environments/platforms
- Create operational scenarios utilizing community M&S tools
- Examine actual military operations across various domains, including cyber, space, air, ground, and sea
- Plan and organize the phases of analytical process development
- Demonstrate initiative in defining objectives and selecting appropriate technical methods
- Address complex challenges with creativity and resourcefulness
- Foster collaborative relationships with government clients and other mission stakeholders
- Undertake additional responsibilities as assigned
Qualifications
Required:
- Eligibility to obtain and maintain a TS/SCI security clearance
- Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Physics, or a related field
- Experience with MATLAB
- Understanding of military operations across cyber, space, air, ground, and sea domains
- Ability to thrive in a team-oriented, collaborative setting
- Effective communication skills for conveying technical concepts in an accessible manner
- Highly self-motivated with strong attention to detail
Preferred:
- Experience in mission-level modeling and simulation
- Familiarity with models such as Suppressor, DIADS, AFSIM, or NGTS
Compensation
The typical compensation range for this position is between $70,000 and $110,000, based on experience, location, and other relevant factors.
