Position Summary

We are looking for a Junior Modeling and Simulation Analyst to engage in analytical tasks utilizing agent-based Modeling and Simulation (M&S) tools applicable to various military operations. This role is situated at a key military base.

Key Responsibilities

  • Execute analyses using community M&S tools.
  • Conduct mission-level evaluations through modeling environments.
  • Create operational scenarios leveraging community M&S tools.
  • Assess actual military operations across diverse domains including cyber, space, air, ground, and maritime.
  • Plan and coordinate the phases of analytical process development.
  • Demonstrate initiative in defining objectives and selecting appropriate technical methods.
  • Address complex challenges with creativity and resourcefulness.
  • Foster collaborative relationships with government clients and other mission stakeholders.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned.

Qualifications

Essential Qualifications:

  • Eligibility to obtain and maintain a TS/SCI security clearance.
  • Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Physics, or a related field.
  • Experience with MATLAB.
  • Understanding of military operations across cyber, space, air, ground, and maritime domains.
  • Ability to thrive in a collaborative, team-oriented environment.
  • Effective communication skills for conveying technical concepts in an accessible manner.
  • Highly self-motivated with strong attention to detail.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience in mission-level modeling and simulation.
  • Familiarity with models such as Suppressor, DIADS, AFSIM, or NGTS.

Compensation:

The typical salary range for this position is between $70,000 and $110,000, depending on experience, location, and other relevant factors.
