THE ROLE

The Housekeeping Attendant reports to the Rooms Division Manager and collaborates with the Housekeeping Leadership team to uphold the cleanliness and organization of guest accommodations. Attention to detail and adherence to cleanliness standards are essential.

Our housekeeping teams at Aparium are expected to maintain high standards of respect for guests and each other. You will build trusting relationships with your peers, fostering a collaborative environment free of egos.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Embody the company's principles of People, Place, and Character while promoting values that enhance collaboration and service quality.
  • Follow the established sequence of service and safety protocols while cleaning guest rooms, stocking supplies, and completing checklists.
  • Work closely with housekeeping leadership to ensure a unified approach to guest satisfaction.
  • Take pride in your work, strictly adhering to health, safety, and sanitation standards.
  • Maintain an organized workspace and demonstrate respect for your equipment.
  • Exhibit a professional sense of urgency in guest rooms and public areas to ensure a pleasant experience.
  • Engage in open communication within the department through daily meetings and feedback sessions.
  • Collaborate with leadership to enhance your skills and improve housekeeping practices.
  • Report any maintenance issues to ensure the upkeep of the property.

QUALIFICATIONS
  • A passion for cleanliness and a commitment to service excellence.
  • Basic understanding of cleaning methods and safety protocols.
  • Conversational proficiency in English for effective communication.
  • Strong interpersonal skills to interact with team members at all levels.
  • Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
  • Capability to lift and carry up to 25 lbs. and assist with heavier items.
  • Willingness to stand or walk for extended periods while performing duties.
