About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Banquet Chef to join our team at The Carolina Club. As a key member of our culinary team, you will be responsible for planning, preparing, and executing exceptional food experiences for our members and guests.

Key Responsibilities
  • Plan and prepare menus for banquets and private parties, ensuring high-quality food and exceptional presentation.
  • Coordinate with the Executive Chef and other team members to ensure seamless execution of events.
  • Prepare and store all food items necessary for events, adhering to ClubCorp quality standards.
  • Maintain accurate records of food inventory and ordering.
  • Communicate effectively with the Executive Chef and other team members to ensure timely and efficient service.
  • Prepare and present daily specials, salads, entrees, and other menu items to the highest standards.
  • Ensure a clean and safe working environment, adhering to health and sanitation regulations.
  • Assist fellow team members as needed to ensure exceptional service and quality.
Requirements
  • 2-3 years of kitchen experience, preferably in a high-volume environment.
  • Culinary training or equivalent experience.
  • Health and sanitation certification.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing demands.
Working Conditions

This role requires standing, walking, and exposure to temperature changes, dust, and fumes. The ability to lift up to 100 pounds is also required.
