Key Responsibilities- Department Leadership: Provide strategic direction and oversight to the Social Services Department, ensuring that our residents receive high-quality care and support.
- Resident Care: Coordinate the development and implementation of individualized care plans that meet the unique needs and goals of each resident.
- Discharge Planning: Facilitate the safe and smooth transition of residents back into the community, ensuring that they receive the necessary support and services to maintain their independence.
- Staff Development: Provide training and guidance to Social Services staff, ensuring that they have the skills and knowledge necessary to provide exceptional care and support to our residents.
- Quality Assurance: Develop and implement quality assurance procedures to ensure that our Social Services Department is meeting the highest standards of care and service.
- Education: Bachelor's degree in Social Work or a related field.
- Experience: Minimum of 2 years of experience in a Social Services leadership role, preferably in a long-term care setting.
- Skills: Strong leadership and management skills, excellent communication and interpersonal skills, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
