This is an exciting opportunity for a Human Resource Generalist to join our team, working closely with the HR Director to support designated geographic regions. As a key member of our HR team, you will be responsible for performing HR-related duties on a professional level.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Benefits Administration: Review, track, and document compliance with mandatory and non-mandatory training, continuing education, and work assessments.
  • Employee Relations: Recruit, interview, and facilitate the hiring of qualified job applicants for open positions, collaborating with departmental managers to understand required skills and competencies.
  • New Hire Orientation and Employee Recognition: Maintain programs that enhance employee engagement and productivity.
  • HR Programs: Perform routine tasks to administer and execute human resource programs, including compensation, benefits, leave, disciplinary matters, disputes, investigations, performance and talent management, productivity, recognition, morale, occupational health and safety, and training and development.
  • Employee Inquiries: Handle employment-related inquiries from applicants, employees, and supervisors, referring complex and/or sensitive matters to the appropriate staff.
  • Employee Concerns: Serve as a point of contact for employee concerns and questions.
Requirements:
  • Education: Bachelor's Degree in HR, management, business, or related field preferred; relevant work experience may be accepted in lieu of education.
  • Experience: 3-5 years' experience in HR or related field with proficiency in employment-related laws and regulations.
  • Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, excellent interpersonal, negotiation, and conflict resolution skills, strong analytical and problem-solving skills, ability to prioritize tasks and delegate them when appropriate, ability to act with integrity, professionalism, and confidentiality.
Physical Requirements:
  • Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
  • Must be able to lift 15 pounds at times.
  • Must be able to access and navigate each department at the organization's facilities.
  • Exposure to a shop environment, including dust, dirt, seasonal temperatures, and loud noises.
Compensation and Benefits:

This is an hourly full-time position, with a competitive salary range of $25-$27 per hour, dependent upon experience. The position will work two facilities (rotate days of week) located in Strafford, MO & Buffalo, MO.
