Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and customer-focused Patient Service Representative to join our team at RadNet. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will be responsible for delivering exceptional patient care and administrative support.

Key Responsibilities
  • Registration and Scheduling: Greet and register patients in a friendly and service-oriented manner, ensuring accurate and timely completion of necessary documentation.
  • Insurance and Billing: Obtain or verify proper insurance and patient information, collect signatures, and ensure accuracy and completion of necessary documentation.
  • Financial Transactions: Collect and log all co-pays and fees, and coordinate with the back-office staff for timely and effective care of patients.
  • Communication and Coordination: Answer/transfer incoming phone calls, schedule, reschedule or cancel new or current patients, confirm appointments, and notify staff of changes when necessary.
  • Patient Orientation: Give patients appropriate orientation for preparatory and safety protocols, and provide directions to facilities if needed.
Requirements
  • Education and Experience: High School Diploma or GED, and experience providing exceptional customer service in a medical or radiology office setting.
  • Skills and Abilities: Strong multitasking and communication skills, intermediate to advanced computer skills, and medical terminology knowledge.
