Sun River Health is seeking a highly skilled Patient Representative/Front Desk Receptionist to join our team in Yonkers. As a key member of our medical care team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional patient-centered care and facilitating access to services in a timely and efficient manner.
Key Responsibilities:- Assist with daily reception activities, ensuring all processes needed for patient services are initiated.
- Communicate effectively with team members and patients regarding all aspects of service.
- Responsible for telephone and mail contact with patients.
- Schedule appointments, collect fees, and explain services and charges for patient services.
- Distribute materials to patients, including patient satisfaction cards and patient rights information.
- Verify insurance and set fees based on the sliding scale fee.
- High School diploma or equivalent required.
- 2-4 years of work-related experience preferred.
- Bilingual in English and Spanish (oral and written) is a plus.
