Youth Development Specialist

Community Youth Services is seeking a dedicated Associate Counselor to join our Haven House program. This dynamic role involves working with youth ages 12–17, providing a supportive environment, and aiding in their personal development.
Key Responsibilities:
- Ensure a safe and nurturing environment for youth.
- Offer guidance and counseling to promote safe behavior.
- Plan and prepare nutritious meals.
- Coordinate daily activities and provide structured support.
- Conduct intake assessments and behavioral observations.
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans.
- Act as a crisis liaison and provide community resource information.
Requirements:
- At least 21 years old.
- Two years of education or experience in social sciences or related fields.
- Valid TB test results or the ability to obtain them within 30 days of employment.
