Job Summary

Community Youth Services (CYS) is seeking a skilled Transitional Age Youth (TAY) Therapist to provide essential behavioral health services to young people aged 15 to 24. This full-time, exempt position offers a competitive salary starting at $6325 per month and a $1,800 per year stipend to cover call hours.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct comprehensive assessments, treatment planning, and crisis stabilization using evidence-based practices.
  • Provide individualized services with a flexible schedule to meet the unique needs of each youth.
  • Deliver services that empower youth, focusing on their strengths and fostering a supportive transition to adulthood.
  • Collaborate with systems like Juvenile Justice, mental health services, community supports, schools, and DCYF.
  • Manage a caseload of 15-25 clients, depending on case complexity.
Requirements
  • A Master's Degree in Social Work, Psychology, Counseling, or a related field, plus two years of experience in providing clinical services in homes, communities, and schools.
  • Required Washington State credentials: Mental Health Professional and Child Mental Health Specialist.
  • Licensed as one of the following: Licensed Mental Health Counselor, Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist, Licensed Psychologist, Licensed Social Worker, Licensed Mental Counselor Associate, or Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist Associate.
