About the Role

At Mini Mall Storage Properties, we are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Acquisitions Director to join our team. As a key member of our leadership team, you will play a critical role in supporting the growth and expansion of our self-storage business across North America.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead Acquisition Efforts: Develop and execute strategies to identify, pursue, and close acquisition opportunities for existing self-storage facilities across the United States.
  • Build Relationships: Establish and maintain strong relationships with potential sellers, industry partners, and stakeholders to drive business growth and expansion.
  • Conduct Market Research: Analyze market trends, economic data, and industry reports to inform acquisition decisions and stay ahead of the competition.
  • Collaborate with Senior Leadership: Work closely with our senior leadership team to negotiate successful purchases of facilities and drive business growth.
  • Manage CRM System: Update and utilize our Customer Relationship Management (CRM) system to analyze trends, forecasts, and customer interactions.
  • Stay Up-to-Date on Industry Developments: Participate in industry events, conferences, and webinars to stay informed on the latest market trends, technologies, and best practices.
Requirements
  • Experience: Proven track record of managing key customer relationships, closing strategic opportunities, and building and managing territories.
  • Industry Knowledge: Thorough understanding of the self-storage industry, including market trends, economic data, and industry reports.
  • Leadership Skills: Ability to build and lead a sales team, create a forward-looking B2B acquisition strategy, and drive business growth.
  • Travel: Comfortable traveling across the United States up to 75% of the time to perform site visits, conduct in-person negotiations, and attend industry events.
