Daily Responsibilities:
- Act as a trusted advisor to assigned Electrical Consultants and End Users, influencing the design of complex, digitally connected electrical distribution systems.
- Engage in solution sales involving Medium Voltage, Low Voltage Distribution, Motor Control, Power Switching, Digital Power, Services, and Power Monitoring tailored to customer needs.
- Provide valuable insights to product lines regarding industry trends and customer requirements, fostering collaboration with other Schneider Electric business units.
- Develop an advanced understanding of Schneider Electric's software and cloud analytics as they relate to customer sustainability goals.
- Connect electrical consulting firms and end users with innovative offers and tools to help achieve project objectives.
- Consult with C-Level Executives and key engineering staff to promote Schneider Electric innovations and influence specifications.
- Collaborate with teams across Sales, Business Development, Services, and Product Lines to deliver comprehensive solutions that address customer needs.
- Interpret electrical plans and specifications to provide accurate pre-sales application and technical support.
- Drive strategic growth within assigned accounts, positioning Schneider Electric to secure orders prior to project bidding.
- Utilize Customer Relationship Management (CRM) tools to navigate the deal landscape effectively.
- Represent Schneider Electric at local and regional technical groups and industry events.
Who are we seeking?
- 6+ years of relevant experience in design, application, or sales within the power distribution sector.
- A bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering is preferred; a Professional Engineering (P.E.) license is advantageous.
- Extensive experience in electrical distribution or energy management industries.
- Proven ability to build relationships with C-Suite executives and familiarity with consultative sales methodologies.
- Experience with low and medium voltage electrical distribution equipment, automation, controls, or energy management technologies.
- A passion for sharing technologies and solutions that challenge the status quo.
- A commitment to continuous learning and sharing knowledge with peers and customers.
