About the Opportunity

Join UnitedHealth Group's Provider Experience team as a Patient Support Professional. The selected candidate will manage existing Optum accounts, drive growth, and support providers, patients, sales, and operations teams. This role offers an exciting opportunity to make a meaningful impact on the communities we serve while advancing health equity on a global scale.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support providers through inbound calls, portal chats, outreach, escalations, and/or EMR tasks
  • Schedule prescription deliveries and handle difficult situations to ensure exceptional provider experiences
  • Collect provider preferences, problem-solve with decisiveness and urgency, and escalate issues to operations partners and stakeholders
  • Enter notes and information into pharmacy systems or other systems to document interactions
  • Ensure patient and provider support by following escalation procedures to completion

Requirements:

  • High School Diploma/GED (or higher)
  • 1+ years of customer service experience
  • Basic knowledge of Microsoft Office applications (preferred)
  • National Pharmacy Technician Certification (soft skills: ability to manage multiple tasks, establish action plans, and communicate professionally)

Compensation and Benefits:

The estimated hourly salary for this position ranges from $16.54 to $32.55, depending on location. UnitedHealth Group offers a comprehensive benefits package, incentive programs, equity stock purchase, and 401(k) contribution (subject to eligibility requirements).
