Job Description

Administrative Support Specialist

At The Kintock Group, we offer a diverse range of employment opportunities from entry-level positions through professional careers.

Under the supervision of the Program Director, this position shall be responsible for routine and special clerical duties required for the management and operations of the department, in compliance with contracting agencies and company policies and procedures.

A working knowledge of:

  • Modern Office principles and protocol
  • Modern Office equipment including personal computer
  • Word Processing software, Microsoft Word for Windows and Windows 95 and Excel
  • Effective written and oral business communication

Ability to:

  • Communicate effectively with all levels in the organization
  • Manipulate spreadsheets
  • Project a professional image appropriate for the position and the Company
  • Manage time and prioritize activities to meet responsibilities and duties of this position
  • Give attention to detail and follow-through
  • Establish and maintain working relationships with co-workers, contracting agencies and other vendors
  • Be flexible to meet unexpected job-related schedules
  • Meet the Parole/Department of Corrections clearance requirements; and execute all duties in accordance with this position description

Qualifications/Requirements:

This position requires a high school diploma (or equivalent) with advanced office training, and at least three years of satisfactory performance as a secretary (or equivalent), or an associate degree in business and the demonstrated ability to work with minimal supervision. Strong computer skills required including advanced use of Excel.
