Job Summary

Catholic Charities of the Archdiocese of Newark seeks a highly organized and detail-oriented Administrative Assistant to provide administrative support to the Refugee Support Services program.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist Intake Coordinator and Case Workers with client communication and document production
  • Support clients with the document production process and create and maintain program files
  • Follow up with clients regarding appointments and outstanding information
  • Draft program advisal, termination, and referral letters
  • Participate in and contribute to team meetings
  • Perform other duties as assigned by supervisor
Requirements
  • High school diploma/GED
  • Fluency in Spanish or Haitian Creole

Previous experience working in a non-profit or government setting is preferred but not required.
