QUALIFICATIONS OF THE IDEAL CANDIDATE
  • The ideal candidate will possess a solid background in project engineering and civil construction.
  • They excel in dynamic, team-oriented settings.

  • An effective candidate will be self-motivated, organized, an excellent communicator, and approachable.
  • Comfortable collaborating within a team environment at project sites.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES AND SKILLS
  • Facilitate construction operations by planning, organizing, and executing project engineering and project control tasks essential for successful project delivery. This encompasses: Safety planning and execution, Quality assurance, Quantity assessment, Budget oversight, Financial reporting and forecasting, Cash flow management, Scheduling, Operational planning, Contract and subcontract management, Change order management, Document oversight, Project completion.
  • Provide mentorship and on-the-job training for junior engineers.
  • Develop a comprehensive understanding of contract documents and specifications.
  • Assist the project team in implementing a robust Quality Management system.
  • Evaluate field conditions, identifying issues, discrepancies, and cost-saving opportunities that may arise. Implement corrective measures as necessary.
  • Review subordinates' work for adherence to contract specifications, identifying deficiencies and providing necessary corrective guidance.
  • Ensure compliance with all regulatory standards for project execution.
  • Monitor material costs and quantities on-site.
  • Generate reports based on monthly material expenditures and inventory levels.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned.
