KEY RESPONSIBILITIES AND SKILLS
  • Facilitate construction operations by planning, organizing, and executing project engineering and control tasks essential for successful project delivery. This encompasses: Safe work planning and execution, Quality assurance, Quantity management, Budget oversight, Financial reporting and forecasting, Cash flow management, Scheduling, Operations planning, Contract/subcontract management, Change control, Document management, Project closure.
  • Provide mentorship and on-the-job training for junior engineers.
  • Develop a comprehensive understanding of contract documents and specifications.
  • Assist the project team in implementing a robust Quality Management system.
  • Evaluate field conditions and identify issues, inaccuracies, and cost-saving opportunities, taking corrective actions as necessary.
  • Review the work of subordinates for adherence to contract specifications, addressing deficiencies and implementing necessary corrections.
  • Ensure compliance with all regulatory standards for project execution.
  • Monitor material costs and quantities entering project sites.
  • Generate reports based on monthly material expenditures and inventory levels.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned.
