Role Summary:

As a Front Desk Receptionist, your primary responsibility will be to create a welcoming environment for patients and visitors. You will provide outstanding customer service and ensure the efficient operation of front desk activities. Your friendly and professional demeanor will play a crucial role in fostering a supportive atmosphere for everyone who visits our facility.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Welcoming Patients: Greet and assist patients and visitors upon arrival, ensuring a friendly and reassuring presence.
  • Appointment Management: Schedule and confirm patient appointments while maintaining an organized calendar.
  • Patient Registration: Accurately register new patients, verify insurance details, and assist with the check-in process.
  • Communication: Manage phone calls and emails, addressing inquiries and providing information clearly and helpfully.
  • Payment Handling: Collect patient co-pays and fees, processing payments in accordance with facility policies.
  • Record Keeping: Maintain patient records with a focus on confidentiality and compliance with healthcare regulations.
  • Patient Support: Assist patients in completing necessary forms and provide guidance within the healthcare facility.
  • Front Desk Maintenance: Ensure the front desk area remains tidy and organized at all times.

Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
  • Prior experience in a front desk or customer service position.
  • Familiarity with medical terminology and healthcare procedures is advantageous.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong organizational and multitasking capabilities.
  • Proficient in office software and electronic health records systems.
  • Compassionate and patient-centered approach.
