Electrical Automation Specialist

Nestle Operational Services Worldwide SA is seeking a highly skilled Electrical Automation Specialist to join our team at our manufacturing facility. As a key member of our maintenance team, you will play a critical role in the production of household products.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and maintain electrical skills on various technologies, including PLCs, servos, networks, and safety devices.
  • Develop computer skills, including familiarity with electrical software, Microsoft Office, and SAP.
  • Perform calibration duties, including acquiring and maintaining calibration training, calibrating equipment, and documenting results.
  • Develop skills on electrical testing devices, including multimeters, oscilloscopes, and power loggers.
  • Perform daily checklists, update prints, and create and improve preventive maintenance procedures.
  • Participate in plant shutdowns, rebuilds of contactors, removal and installation of equipment, and maintain close working relationships with equipment operators and line team leaders.
  • Troubleshoot emergency equipment failures, abide by plant rules and policies, and perform good housekeeping practices.
Requirements:
  • Associate Degree in an Industrial Electrical technical field or equivalent experience.
  • Highly skilled electrical troubleshooting of PLCs, servos, and safety relays.
  • Strong written and oral communication skills, with the ability to interpret and comprehend technical literature and print documentation.
  • Working knowledge of switchboards, MCCs, panel boards, and control cabinets.
  • Utilize a computer to troubleshoot and repair faulty networked components.
  • Obtaining and maintaining a Wisconsin state electrical license and continuing education may be required.
