Job Overview

Amotec is currently seeking an Electrical Automation Specialist. This role is essential for a prominent manufacturer with over $10 billion in revenue, who is experiencing significant growth. The Electrical Automation Specialist will play a key role in the design and execution of electrical and automation systems, while also managing various project-related tasks within the facility.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Troubleshoot PLCs on equipment throughout the facility to ensure optimal machine performance.
  • Collaborate with Electrical Engineers on capital equipment initiatives.
  • Oversee the calibration of flow meters, RTDs, and thermocouples.
  • Facilitate the removal and installation of new machinery on the production floor.

Required Qualifications:

  • Associate's degree in Industrial Electrical Technology or equivalent experience.
  • Availability to work a second shift schedule (2:00 PM - 10:30 PM), including overtime and weekends as needed.
  • Proven experience in PLC troubleshooting.
  • A minimum of three years in a similar role.
  • Demonstrated project management experience.
  • Able to work effectively within a cross-functional team.
