Broadcast Operations Specialist

Position Overview:
The Broadcast Operations Specialist role at Imagicomm Communications LLC involves overseeing and ensuring the integrity of on-air broadcast signals, capturing programming from various feeds for future use, configuring automated playlists for shows and advertisements, and supervising transmitter operations to ensure compliance with broadcasting standards.
Key Responsibilities:
- Ensure the quality and precision of broadcast signals during programming and commercial breaks.
- Operate and manage automation systems, video servers, satellite receivers, and related technology.
- Prepare and curate content for broadcast.
- Facilitate live sporting events and other live programming.
- Document any discrepancies, maintain the transmitter log, and monitor multiple signals concurrently.
- Collaborate effectively with Programming, Traffic, Engineering, Sales, and Production teams.
- Maintain clear communication with essential staff throughout shifts to support quality broadcasting.
- Exhibit punctuality and regular attendance to ensure efficient station operations.
- Perform additional related tasks as necessary.
Qualifications:
What You Will Bring:
- Prior experience in television switching is advantageous but not mandatory.
- Strong understanding of broadcast signal standards.
- Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team.
- Proficient in computer operations, including Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook.
- Ability to maintain composure under pressure with a keen attention to detail.
- Flexibility to work various shifts, including weekends and holidays, as required.
