We are seeking a skilled Electrical Installation Specialist to join our team at Freedom Forever. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for providing technical expertise to safely plan and perform electrical work for residential solar projects.
Key Responsibilities- Ensure that all electrical work is performed in a neat and workmanlike manner, compliant with all State and local codes and standards.
- Assemble all components of a residential solar system, including electrical panels and wiring.
- Diagnose and troubleshoot system components to resolve electrical issues, ensuring minimal downtime and optimal system performance.
- Interface with branch leadership to ensure compliance with electrician/labor ratios and continuing education requirements.
- Follow OSHA, NEC, AHJ, and Utility requirements to ensure a safe working environment.
- Work with a crew to complete all portions of Photovoltaic systems installs (PV), including electrical connections and system testing.
- Diagnose and troubleshoot electrical components and system issues, using advanced troubleshooting techniques and tools.
- Follow all safe work practices, including proper use of personal protective equipment (PPE) and adherence to company safety protocols.
- Provide top-notch customer service throughout the installation process, ensuring customer satisfaction and loyalty.
- Upload photos and update job status in the Company database when work is complete, maintaining accurate records and documentation.
- Must have a valid Oregon Journeyman Electrician License.
- Minimum 3 years of electrical installation and repair experience, with a strong background in residential electrical services and distribution panels.
- Must be experienced with all required hand and power tools associated with the electrical trade.
- Ability to drive a vehicle during the normal course of business, with a clean driving record and ability to pass a driving background check.
- Must possess and maintain a current and valid State Journeyman License/Electrician Certification for applicable state.
- Ability to effectively manage work to achieve required timelines, prioritizing tasks and meeting deadlines.
- Strong interpersonal/human relations skills, with the ability to interact with co-workers and participate in meetings.
- Ability to read and interpret single- and three-line drawings, with a strong understanding of electrical systems and components.
- Ability to work safely in a branch/warehouse environment, adhering to company safety protocols and procedures.
- Use hands to handle, control, or feel objects, tools, or controls.
- Stand for long periods of time, with the ability to walk or run for extended periods.
- Climb ladders, scaffolds, or poles, with the ability to kneel, stoop, crouch, or crawl as needed.
- Bend, stretch, twist, or reach out, with the ability to repeat the same movements and use fingers to grasp, move, or assemble small objects.
- See details of objects that are less than a few feet away, with the ability to determine the distance between objects and use muscles to lift, push, pull, or carry heavy objects.
