Job Summary

The Patient Access Specialist plays a vital role in ensuring seamless patient access to our healthcare services. As the front-line liaison between patients, physicians, and hospital departments, this individual is responsible for registering patients for all inpatient and outpatient services.

This position requires excellent communication and interpersonal skills, as well as the ability to multitask and maintain composure in a fast-paced environment. The ideal candidate will possess a high school diploma or equivalent and a minimum of one year of experience in hospital registration or a related field.

Key Responsibilities
  • Register patients for inpatient and outpatient services
  • Ensure accurate and timely completion of registration tasks
  • Provide exceptional customer service to patients and families
  • Collaborate with healthcare teams to ensure seamless patient access
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records
Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Minimum one year of experience in hospital registration or a related field
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to multitask and maintain composure in a fast-paced environment
  • Familiarity with medical terminology and coding systems
Working Conditions
