Position Summary

We are looking for a dedicated Project Supervisor for our Piping Division. This role is crucial for overseeing the execution and completion of industrial piping projects across various sectors, including Chemical, Pharmaceutical, Food & Beverage, Automotive, and more.

Key Responsibilities

  • Ensure all projects are executed safely by adhering to company and client safety protocols.
  • Act as a key point of contact among clients, suppliers, and project teams.
  • Demonstrate strong leadership and communication skills to guide team members effectively.
  • Manage multiple projects and personnel simultaneously.
  • Conduct accurate project estimations using standardized processes.
  • Prepare material takeoffs based on provided specifications.
  • Assist in project design, planning, and execution, clearly defining project objectives and deliverables.
  • Create detailed project timelines and manage financial budgets.
  • Review and approve design documents before submission to clients.
  • Provide ongoing support and direction to project teams.
  • Regularly monitor project progress and communicate updates to stakeholders, addressing any challenges that arise.
  • Implement necessary project adjustments to meet desired outcomes.
  • Conclude projects with a thorough review to ensure quality and compliance with project scope.
  • Contribute to business development strategies and foster positive relationships with clients.
  • Assist in recruiting and training staff for the Piping Division.
  • Perform additional duties as required.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree in a relevant field or 3-5 years of project management experience.
  • Ability to handle multiple tasks efficiently.
  • Strong communication skills for effective interaction with project stakeholders.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Microsoft Project, and Adobe Acrobat.
  • Ability to interpret construction specifications and drawings.
  • Experience in the installation and fabrication of piping systems in various applications.
  • Capability to oversee and instruct on proper fitting and welding techniques.
  • Familiarity with various materials, including carbon steel, stainless steel, and PVC.
  • Knowledge of pipefitting methods for different systems.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • Commitment to quality and excellence.

Work Environment and Physical Requirements

  • Ability to stand or walk for extended periods.
  • Capable of lifting and carrying materials up to 50 pounds; heavier items may require assistance.
  • Willingness to travel as needed for project-related activities.
