Pipefitting Specialist

We are seeking a skilled Pipefitting Specialist to join our team at Slam Athens Llc. This role involves a variety of responsibilities related to the installation and maintenance of plumbing systems in both commercial and residential settings.

• Install, repair, and maintain piping systems, valves, fittings, drainage systems, and fixtures, including sinks, toilets, and water heaters.
• Collaborate effectively with general contractors, electricians, and other tradespeople during construction projects.
• Conduct routine inspections of plumbing and drainage systems, diagnosing issues using appropriate tools and techniques.
• Perform light construction tasks, including carpentry, painting, plastering, flooring, ceiling work, and electrical tasks as needed.
• Prepare client estimates, budgets, and cost projections.
• Maintain accurate records of time worked, tasks completed, and materials utilized.
• Comply with all plumbing building codes and regulations.
• Ensure that all work adheres to safety standards and best practices.

• High school diploma or GED certificate.
• Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
• Possession of personal hand tools.
• Strong knowledge of plumbing systems, including water supply and drainage.
• Familiarity with local plumbing codes and regulations.
• Ability to troubleshoot and resolve plumbing issues effectively.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, including customer service capabilities.
• Creative problem-solving skills and critical thinking abilities.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings.
• Experience working with various materials such as PVC, CPVC, PEX, Uponor, cast iron, and copper.
• Attention to detail and capability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
• Proficiency in basic mathematics and measurement conversions.
