Job Overview

IMI Industrial Services Group is a leading industrial contractor providing comprehensive solutions for industrial projects. We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Structural Ironworker Foreman to join our team.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead and coordinate the activities of employees engaged in dismantling, moving, assembling, and installing industrial machinery to ensure work is performed safely, correctly, and timely.
  • Function as the onsite Quality Lead to support the IMI Quality Management System.
  • Act as a liaison between customers, vendors, project managers, and other employees regarding current and future projects.
  • Develop and implement effective communication strategies to direct and motivate team members.
  • Analyze and resolve work-related problems to ensure project success.
  • Manage time and track production to meet project deadlines.
  • Collaborate with Project Managers and General Foreman to establish and adjust work sequences to meet schedules.
  • Ensure that all initial safety and hazard assessments (JHA's and Worksite Safety Inspections) required by IMI and our customers are completed before work begins.
Requirements
  • 4-6 years of experience in industrial ironwork or a related field.
  • NCCER certification or completion of a related program through an accredited technical school.
Work Environment
  • Must be able to climb, stoop, kneel, crouch, crawl, reach, stand, walk, push, pull, lift, grasp, twist, and bend for extended periods of time.
  • Use arms and hands to reach for, handle or manipulate objects.
  • Must be able to work indoors and outdoors, including times of inclement weather.
  • Ability to climb in overhead structures, to work beneath machines and in close quarters performing analysis and repair work.
  • Must be highly safety conscious and have the ability to see and escape from dangerous situations.
  • Ability to climb a ladder and step into various pieces of equipment.
