USD $110,000-120,000 + Bonus + Benefits (salaried, exempt)

Salary ranges are established based on role, level, and location.

The displayed range represents the minimum and maximum target for new hire salaries for this position.

Individual compensation within this range is influenced by work location and various factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.

About the Role:

The Electrical Maintenance Specialist plays a crucial role in assisting the Maintenance Manager and the Maintenance Department with all operations and the mechanical integrity program.

This position will actively support and engage in the Responsible Care Program to ensure safe working conditions.

Responsibilities include ensuring compliance with the Management of Change (MOC) process for all modifications made to equipment, procedures, and personnel.

Familiarity with plant operations is essential for becoming an On-Call Supervisor for nights, weekends, and vacation coverage.


Qualifications:

- Bachelor of Science in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering from an accredited institution.
- Three to five years of experience in manufacturing, preferably within a chemical or petrochemical setting.
- Proficiency with Electrical VFDs, 480 MCC, switchgear, motors, and drive systems.
- Experience with rotary machinery such as pumps, fans, blowers, and conveyors (screw/belt).
- Familiarity with predictive maintenance technologies (e.g., vibration analysis) is advantageous.
- Must demonstrate teamwork capabilities and the ability to lead others.
- Self-motivated with strong communication and problem-solving skills.

Key Responsibilities:

- Develop, implement, and oversee capital appropriation requests and projects (45%).
- Provide assistance to maintenance supervisors and staff, including vacation coverage, technical support, equipment troubleshooting, and maintenance-driven projects (15%).
- Support the formulation and adherence to corporate pipe specifications (5%).
- Create and execute predictive preventative maintenance programs.
- Conduct failure analysis of plant equipment (5%).
- Establish inspection criteria for PSM and other equipment (5%).
- Assist and monitor mechanical integrity activities for PSM compliance (10%).
- Support Responsible Care initiatives (5%).
