Position Overview:

As an Operations Supervisor, you will play a crucial role in ensuring that all patrons and visitors receive exceptional service and that events are executed seamlessly from inception to conclusion.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Customer Service Excellence: Ensure the highest standards of service and quality for all visitors, from their arrival to their departure.
  • Event Management: Oversee the organization and execution of events, ensuring they run smoothly and efficiently.
  • Facility Coordination: Address facility-related inquiries and ensure that performances are conducted in an orderly and timely manner.
  • Team Leadership: Supervise frontline staff involved in various functions including catering, ushering, and retail sales, ensuring a consistent high level of service across all areas.
  • Flexible Operations: Work across different areas including galleries, theatres, and events, adapting to the needs of the organization.

Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 5 GCSEs or equivalent at grade C or above.
  • At least 2 years of experience in a managerial or supervisory role, preferably within the arts or nonprofit sector.
  • Proven experience in leading and developing teams to achieve shared objectives.
  • Demonstrated ability to enhance operational processes and contribute to organizational success.
  • Experience in customer service, with a focus on engaging with diverse audiences.
  • Sales experience, including cash handling and customer engagement.
  • Experience in multicultural environments, effectively engaging with various communities.
  • Proven event planning and execution skills, managing logistics and collaborating with stakeholders.

Salary & Benefits:

Competitive salary of £26,111 per annum.

Contract Type: Permanent Annualised Hours, requiring flexibility to work varying hours throughout the year.
