Job Description:
Field Technician IV
As a Field Technician IV, you will play a crucial role in supporting the CECOM SEC, contributing to significant projects that enhance operational efficiency and security.
Key Responsibilities:
- Initialize, operate, and troubleshoot software interfaces for JADOCS.
- Assist users in managing system requirements, including data management and recovery.
- Provide hands-on technical assistance and training to users and maintainers.
- Support troubleshooting efforts for software installations, updates, and fixes.
- Apply IAVA software patches and service pack updates.
- Assist in fault detection, isolation, and correction of hardware systems.
- Ensure proper configuration and functionality of JADOCS interfaces with external C4I systems.
- Conduct routine system maintenance and analysis, including hardware configurations and diagnostics.
Requirements for Success:
- Education: Associate of Arts/Associate of Science (Required)
- Experience: 5+ years in a related field (Required)
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in server-based software, client-side system setup, and networking.
- Security Clearance Level: TS/SCI (Required)
- Skills and Abilities: Excellent written and verbal communication, adept problem-solving in a dynamic environment.
