Job Title: Physical Therapist Assistant

This is a casual position with a $1,000 Sign-on Bonus (paid throughout the first six months of employment). Lutheran SeniorLife offers a comprehensive array of community-based health and social service programs throughout western Pennsylvania. Our rehabilitation services focus on helping individuals achieve their highest level of independence and bridging the transition from illness to wellness at home and community, by emphasizing the restoration of mobility and function. We are seeking a Physical Therapist Assistant to assist the Licensed Physical Therapist in providing quality Physical Therapy services in an interdisciplinary environment at Lutheran SeniorLife Facilities/Agencies.

Responsibilities:
  • Assist the Licensed Physical Therapist in providing quality Physical Therapy services to residents/patients/clients.
  • Work in an interdisciplinary environment at Lutheran SeniorLife Facilities/Agencies, including skilled nursing facilities, LIFE programs, home health, and/or outpatient clinics.
  • Maintain current PA License as a Physical Therapist Assistant, including meeting continuing education requirements.
Requirements:
  • Associate's degree (A.A.) from an accredited Physical Therapist Assistant program.
  • Six months to one year related experience and/or training preferred.
  • Working knowledge of computer software required for documentation and communication.
