Role Overview

The Occupational Therapist is responsible for delivering high-quality Occupational Therapy services, which include:

  • Assessment of residents/patients/clients
  • Care planning and treatment
  • Consultation within an interdisciplinary team

This role will be performed at various Lutheran SeniorLife facilities and agencies, including skilled nursing facilities, LIFE programs, home health, and outpatient clinics.

Qualifications

The ideal candidate will possess:

  • A Bachelor's degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited institution; a Master's degree is preferred.
  • One to two years of relevant experience or training, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Experience working with the senior population.
  • Proficiency in computer software necessary for documentation and communication.
  • A current PA License as an Occupational Therapist, with adherence to continuing education requirements.
