Position Overview:
We are currently seeking a skilled Analyst (2nd / 3rd year) to join our Technology team in San Francisco. The selected candidate will collaborate closely with senior members of the Technology Group, gaining exposure to both sell-side and buy-side advisory roles, as well as participating in the underwriting and placement of equity and debt offerings for both public and private entities. Technology Analysts will engage in a variety of strategic transactions for leading and emerging companies across multiple sectors, including Software, Internet, and Hardware. You will manage several projects concurrently, working alongside teams of professionals both within the group and across the firm.
This role necessitates in-person office attendance from Monday to Friday.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and prepare client presentations, drafting offering memoranda, internal committee memoranda, management and board presentations, and other required materials.
- Execute transactions involving direct client interaction and communication.
- Oversee client due diligence processes.
- Conduct extensive financial modeling and perform valuation analyses.
- Evaluate industry research and trends.
- Minimum of 1-2 years of experience in investment banking, with a focus on Technology.
- Genuine interest in the Technology sector.
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Meticulous attention to detail and consistency in work output.
- Strong work ethic and collaborative team player with the ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
- Organized and proactive; motivated to foster a positive, collaborative team culture.
- Strong interpersonal skills.
- Familiarity with Dealogic, CapIQ, Bloomberg, and MS Office suite is highly preferred.
- Possession of Series 63, 79 licenses, and Securities Industry Essentials (SIE) Exam required at the time of hiring or shortly thereafter.

This salary range is specific to California and considers a wide array of factors that influence salary decisions, including but not limited to skills, qualifications, experience, licensure and certifications, as well as other business and organizational needs. A reasonable estimate of the current base salary range is $90,000 to $110,000. Additionally, certain positions may qualify for supplementary forms of compensation such as discretionary bonuses.
