As an Investment Banking Analyst in Healthcare at Barclays, you will lead and deliver innovative financial strategies customized to meet the requirements of our clients. You may be evaluated on essential competencies for success in this position, including financial modeling, analysis of financial statements, and macroeconomic assessments, while also assisting the Biopharma team and applying job-specific technical skills.

Valuable skills in investment banking, equity research, financial modeling, and a solid grasp of financial statements and valuation methods are highly regarded.

Salary / Rate Minimum: 110,000

Salary / Rate Maximum: 135,000

The salary information provided above pertains solely to base salary or base hourly rate, excluding any additional compensation or benefits that may be available.

Role Purpose

To engage in the daily operations of the investment banking division, gaining extensive exposure to various clients, transactions, and specialized areas.

Key Responsibilities

  1. Collaborate on live transactions, client presentations, and assist the team in advising a wide array of corporate clients, delivering comprehensive, structured solutions to achieve client objectives.
  2. Work alongside cross-functional teams to support business initiatives.
  3. Participate in training and development programs to enhance skills and knowledge.
  4. Identify opportunities, develop business cases, and manage the rollout of new products and services within investment banking.
  5. Manage client relationships and provide customer service support to clients, responding to inquiries about products and services, and processing transactions.
  6. Develop and implement financial models and strategies that facilitate decision-making in investment banking. Gain insights into business operations and learn from industry experts.
  7. Train and mentor junior colleagues.
