Role Overview: As an Analyst in Banking for Technology Investments at Cantor Fitzgerald, you will be an integral part of our dynamic and fast-paced team. Your primary duties will involve a broad spectrum of financial and strategic activities across various sub-sectors within the Technology industry, emphasizing M&A advisory, equity, and debt capital markets. Your contributions will be vital in propelling our clients' success and fostering growth within the Technology sector.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Financial Analysis: Execute comprehensive financial analyses, including modeling, to evaluate investment prospects and assess target company performance within the Technology sector.
  • Market Research: Remain informed about trends and market dynamics in the Technology industry, offering valuable insights and recommendations to clients.
  • Deal Support: Assist in M&A advisory, equity, and debt capital market transactions by preparing presentation materials, conducting due diligence, and contributing to deal structuring.
  • Valuation: Develop and maintain intricate financial models for company and asset valuations utilizing various methodologies.
  • Client Engagement: Interact with clients, devise customized financial solutions, and ensure adherence to regulatory standards throughout the transaction process.

Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 1 year of experience in Investment Banking.
  • Bachelor's degree from a prestigious university with a minimum GPA of 3.5 or equivalent.
  • Strong analytical capabilities.
  • Solid understanding of corporate finance, valuation, and financial accounting.
  • Effective communication and teamwork skills.
  • Proficiency in financial modeling and Excel; familiarity with the Technology sector is advantageous.

Compensation: The anticipated base salary for this position ranges from $100,000 to $110,000. The actual base salary will be determined on an individual basis, considering a variety of factors including, but not limited to, relevant skills, experience, education, and, where applicable, licenses or certifications held. In addition to base salary and a competitive benefits package, this position may qualify for additional forms of compensation including discretionary bonuses and other short- and long-term incentives (e.g., deferred cash, equity, etc.).
