FIS Quantum offers a comprehensive treasury and risk management solution that assists financial institutions in managing liquidity, hedge accounting, and compliance with regulations.


Key Responsibilities:
General Duties & Responsibilities

  • Oversee the execution of assigned projects encompassing all functional aspects of Treasury.
  • Collaborate individually or as part of a team on technology consulting projects tailored to meet specific client needs.
  • Act as a bridge between end-users and consultants throughout consulting engagements.
  • Thoroughly research and document client requirements, technology, or regulations pertinent to system design, enhancements, and hardware or software acquisition affecting multiple platforms and applications.

  • Define product scope, objectives, and requirements. Establish specifications and data models for product development and testing.
  • Create detailed specifications from which programs will be developed.
  • Analyze market trends, industry developments, company dynamics, technology advancements, and best practices, as well as assess system impacts on other systems and procedures.

  • Devise and/or modify processes and procedures to enhance efficiency and resolve complex technical challenges related to computer capacity, operational time, and desired outcomes.
  • Evaluate available technologies and propose solutions to the consulting team.
  • Draft test plans and test cases to ensure that application enhancements meet client requirements and maintain application integrity.
  • Conduct various tests, including system, integration, readiness, and acceptance tests, utilizing client data to ensure that client needs are fulfilled.

  • Influence clients, business partners, and service providers regarding priorities, hardware/software choices, and vendor selections.
  • Engage directly with clients and may travel to client locations as necessary.
  • Lead technical aspects of consulting projects, managing sub-plans or smaller projects. May mentor, guide, and review the work of less experienced business systems analysts and technology consultants.
  • Play a crucial role in training client and technical support staff on enhancements, new systems, or procedures, which may be delivered in various formats based on audience size and client preferences.

  • May serve as a pre-sales support specialist when required.
  • Perform other related duties as assigned.

Qualifications:
Educational Background:
Bachelor's degree in computer science, information systems, or a comparable combination of education, training, or work experience.

Essential Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:
Comprehensive understanding of FIS products and services and the financial services sector
Advanced knowledge of various end-to-end systems development life cycles, including waterfall, iterative, and modern software development methodologies
Expertise in application development tools, techniques, and principles, particularly in object-oriented development or other relevant technologies
Familiarity with application architecture
Proficient in business modeling and requirements definition using Unified Modeling Language (UML), use cases, etc.
Strong command of quality management methods, tools, and technologies
Proficient in at least one relevant programming language
Exceptional customer service skills that foster high levels of satisfaction for both internal and external clients
Excellent verbal and written communication skills tailored to technical and non-technical audiences across various organizational levels
Willingness to share relevant technical and industry knowledge with colleagues
Outstanding analytical, decision-making, problem-solving, interpersonal, team, negotiation, conflict management, and time management skills
Ability to persuade and influence others regarding optimal approaches
Capable of estimating work effort for project sub-plans or smaller projects and ensuring successful project completion
Resourceful and proactive in gathering information and sharing insights

Preferred Knowledge and Experience:
Familiarity with Treasury Workstations
Experience with FIS Quantum Treasury is highly desirable
Strong skills in implementation and requirements gathering are essential
