We are in search of a seasoned associate who demonstrates meticulous attention to detail, a passion for continuous improvement, and a commitment to surpassing client expectations. In this capacity, you will play a pivotal role in delivering outstanding client service and supporting a variety of operational functions. This position offers a unique opportunity to integrate into a forward-thinking and innovative investment management organization.

Key Responsibilities

The Associate will collaborate closely with the operations, client service, and investment teams to carry out a comprehensive range of activities. The responsibilities include:

Operational Duties:

  • Coordinate with third-party fund administrators for both onshore and offshore investment vehicles.
  • Assist in the processes of subscription, redemption, and capital calls related to fund investments.
  • Regularly manage accounts receivable/payable, process employee expenses, and oversee tax filings and K-1 preparations.
  • Support various monthly, quarterly, and year-end projects.
  • Assist the Head of Operations with diverse projects as needed.

Client Service Duties:

  • Facilitate the onboarding process for new clients.
  • Maintain the wealth management system, Addepar, ensuring accurate recording of capital activities and valuations.
  • Help generate quarterly performance reports for clients utilizing Addepar.
  • Monitor client liquidity and execute trades in client accounts as necessary.
  • Address ad hoc data and reporting requests from internal teams.
  • Support the Head of Client Service with a variety of ad hoc tasks.

Preferred Qualifications

The ideal candidate will possess strong execution capabilities and the aptitude to prioritize and manage multiple projects and deadlines in a dynamic environment.

  • Significant experience in operations, finance, and back-office functions.
  • Proficient in MS Office, particularly Excel formulas and charts.
  • Comprehensive knowledge of fund administration.
  • Experience in partnership accounting and operations.
  • Proactive, independent, and capable of fostering strong working relationships.
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
  • Detail-oriented, able to meet tight deadlines, and skilled in multitasking.
  • Bachelor's degree with five or more years of relevant experience.

Compensation and Benefits

  • Salary Range: $100,000 – $120,000
