Position Overview
We are in search of a skilled associate who demonstrates meticulous attention to detail, a commitment to ongoing professional development, and a strong desire to surpass client expectations. This role encompasses providing outstanding client service while supporting various operational functions. Key Responsibilities
The Associate will collaborate closely with the operations, client service, and investment teams to carry out a comprehensive range of activities. The responsibilities include:
Operational Duties:
- Coordinate with third-party fund administrators for both onshore and offshore investment vehicles.
- Assist with subscription, redemption, and capital call processes for fund investments.
- Regularly manage accounts receivable/accounts payable, process staff expenses, and oversee tax filings and K-1 preparations.
- Support various monthly, quarterly, and year-end projects.
- Assist the Head of Operations with diverse projects.
Client Service Duties:
- Facilitate the onboarding process for new clients.
- Conduct daily maintenance of the wealth management system, Addepar, including recording capital activities and valuations.
- Help generate quarterly client performance reports utilizing Addepar.
- Monitor client liquidity and execute trades in client accounts as necessary.
- Respond to ad hoc data and reporting requests from internal teams.
- Assist the Head of Client Service with a variety of ad hoc tasks.
Preferred Qualifications
The ideal candidate will possess strong execution capabilities and the ability to prioritize and manage multiple projects and deadlines in a dynamic environment.
- Extensive experience in operations, finance, and back-office functions.
- Proficiency in MS Office, particularly Excel formulas and charts.
- Comprehensive knowledge of fund administration.
- Experience in partnership accounting and operations.
- Must exhibit proactivity, independence, and the ability to foster strong working relationships.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Detail-oriented, capable of working under tight deadlines, and adept at multitasking.
- Bachelor's degree with five or more years of relevant experience.
Compensation and Benefits
- Salary Range: $100,000 – $120,000
- 401(k), Health, Vision, and Dental insurance
- 20 days of paid time off
