Employment Type: We offer part-time and per diem shifts, including second and third shifts.

Compensation Details: The hourly wage for this role is $20.00.

Shift Differentials: Additional compensation is provided for overnight shifts ($2.50/hr), weekend shifts ($2.50/hr), and weekend overnight shifts ($5.00/hr).

Position Overview: The Shelter Attendant plays a crucial role in ensuring the safety and well-being of clients entering the shelter.

Qualifications Required: A minimum of a High School diploma or GED is essential. Previous experience in the human services sector is highly desirable, particularly with populations experiencing homelessness or substance use disorders.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Demonstrate a willingness to understand the organizational framework of Dynamic Campus
  • Adhere to and comprehend all operational policies and procedures
  • Facilitate appropriate referrals to external agencies and resources, including vocational, educational, social, occupational, and recreational services
  • Engage in the development of individualized care plans with clients
  • Provide various levels of care for client caseloads during each shift, including meals, hygiene assistance, and laundry services
  • Maintain accurate and confidential records and reports
  • Coordinate transportation to community service providers as needed
  • Uphold patient confidentiality at all times
  • Participate in essential training programs and scheduled staff meetings
  • Perform additional related duties as assigned
Physical Requirements and Work Environment: Candidates should be capable of sitting or standing for extended periods and assisting clients with mobility and personal care tasks as necessary.

Salary Information: $20.00 per hour.
