Become a valued member of our Specialized Academic Instruction team at Total Education Solutions, where you will collaborate with a dedicated group of professionals supporting educational institutions. Your primary responsibilities will include preparing and leading IEP meetings and conducting academic evaluations. This is a full-time position consisting of 31 hours per week, with a hybrid work model that includes both on-site and remote duties.
Special Education Instructor

$44.59/hr*
*Compensation is based on relevant experience, credentials, education, and proficiency in a second language utilized in your role (50% of the time).

Key Responsibilities:
  • Deliver small group and individualized instruction to students needing assistance in reading, writing, mathematics, and other subjects as required.
  • Communicate ongoing student progress to parents/guardians, general education instructors, school administration, district personnel, and other service professionals through progress reports and Individual Education Plans.
  • Ensure compliance with IDEA (Individuals with Disabilities Education Act) regulations.
Minimum Qualifications:
  • A valid Special Education credential or enrollment in a relevant program with successful completion of required assessments.
    • If holding an Intern credential, compliance with all state renewal requirements is necessary.
  • Successful completion of a current background check through the FBI and DOJ.
  • A current TB Test (within the last 6 months).
  • Possession of appropriate automobile insurance with coverage limits permitting the use of a personal vehicle for work (25/50k liability coverage).
