Your Responsibilities:

As a Behavior Support Consultant, your duties will include:

  • Conducting Functional Behavioral Assessments (FBA) and crafting Behavior Intervention Plans (BIP).
  • Implementing and overseeing BIPs within a school framework.
  • Collaborating with educators, school personnel, and families to address student behavioral requirements.
  • Gathering and analyzing data to guide decisions and monitor progress.
  • Providing training and resources to school staff on effective behavior management strategies.
  • Engaging in meetings to discuss student advancements and strategic approaches.

Required Qualifications:

  • A minimum of one year of experience working with children or adolescents with developmental disabilities and/or mental health challenges in an educational context.
  • Preferred background in applied behavior analysis and crisis intervention techniques.
  • Strong analytical skills and the ability to collaborate effectively with others.
  • Completion of necessary background checks and clearances.
  • Professional Liability Insurance meeting specified requirements.
  • Certifications in CPR/First Aid.
