Your Responsibilities:

As a Behavioral Support Consultant, your duties will include:

  • Conducting Functional Behavioral Assessments (FBA) and creating Behavior Intervention Plans (BIP).
  • Implementing and overseeing BIPs in educational settings.
  • Collaborating with educators, school personnel, and families to address student behavioral needs.
  • Gathering and analyzing data to guide decision-making and monitor progress.
  • Providing training and support to school staff on effective behavior management strategies.
  • Participating in meetings to contribute insights on student progress and behavioral strategies.

Required Qualifications:

  • A minimum of one year of experience working with children or adolescents with developmental disabilities and/or mental health challenges in educational contexts.
  • Preferred experience in applied behavior analysis and crisis intervention techniques.
  • Strong analytical skills and the ability to collaborate effectively with others.
  • Completion of necessary background checks and clearances.
  • Professional Liability Insurance with required coverage limits.
  • Certifications in CPR and First Aid.
