Position Summary:

The Event Support Specialist is vital in facilitating the planning and execution of various events. This role focuses on ensuring artist hospitality and providing essential technical assistance during events for Relentless Beats.

In addition to offering production and hospitality support, this role serves as a key communicator between the artist, venue, and promoter on the event day. This position is crucial within the production team, ensuring that all operational requirements are effectively communicated and addressed among all parties involved on-site.


Key Responsibilities:
  • Review advance documentation to comprehend the artist's requirements and expectations.
  • Source and arrange necessary equipment from the Relentless Beats office or production vendors.
  • Procure hospitality items as approved by management, addressing any procurement challenges proactively.
  • Prepare the artist's dressing area and coordinate with venue staff for additional hospitality needs.
  • Act as the primary contact for artist teams during events, ensuring timely arrival and providing necessary assistance.
  • Maintain secure areas such as the side stage and dressing rooms, collaborating with security personnel as needed.
  • Set up technical equipment, including CDJs and mixers, troubleshooting issues as they arise.
  • Assist with the event schedule, ensuring support acts adhere to their performance times.
  • Engage with artists, their teams, customers, and the public through various communication channels to provide support and information.
  • Coordinate with the onsite box office team to accommodate artist guests.
  • Address artist inquiries and concerns, escalating issues to the appropriate team member when necessary.
  • Document and maintain detailed records related to events and artist requests.
  • Ensure compliance with safety standards and maintain a secure working environment.
  • Participate in required training sessions and meetings.
  • Engage in ongoing professional development activities.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned.

Qualifications:
  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Experience in customer service is essential.
  • Minimum of 1 year of experience in live entertainment production or technical roles.
  • Familiarity with DJ backline equipment is preferred.

Work Environment:

This position requires working at various event venues, which may include both indoor and outdoor settings with frequent exposure to loud noise. Regular travel to event sites is necessary, along with evening and weekend availability.


Physical Requirements:
  • Ability to adapt to varying temperature conditions.
  • Capability to tolerate high noise levels and busy environments.
  • Physical stamina to ascend/descend stairs and remain in a stationary position for extended periods.
  • Ability to lift and move items weighing up to 50 pounds.
  • Possession of a valid driver's license and access to reliable transportation.
