About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Virtual Marketing Event Specialist to join our team at Booking with Brooke. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for planning and coordinating travel-related events, including corporate retreats, conferences, destination weddings, and group tours.

Key Responsibilities
  • Collaborate with clients to understand their event objectives, preferences, and budgetary considerations.
  • Research and recommend suitable destinations and venues for events, taking into account accessibility, accommodations, attractions, and local regulations.
  • Liaise with vendors and suppliers to secure necessary arrangements for events.
  • Develop and manage event budgets, tracking expenses and negotiating with vendors to ensure cost-effectiveness.
  • Create detailed event itineraries and schedules, coordinating transportation, accommodations, activities, and other logistics.
  • Promote events through various channels, including social media, email campaigns, and promotional materials.
  • Provide exceptional customer service and support to clients and event attendees throughout the planning process and during the event.
  • Leverage sales opportunities to maximize commission earnings.
Requirements
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Excellent organizational abilities and attention to detail.
  • Proficiency in using event planning software, project management tools, and other relevant software.
  • Previous experience in event planning, hospitality, or the travel industry is advantageous but not required.
  • Ability to work independently and manage time efficiently in a remote work environment.
