Abacus Technology Corporation is seeking a skilled VoIP Technician to provide technical support for telephone systems at Tinker AFB. This is a full-time position that requires a strong background in telecommunications and customer service.
Key Responsibilities:- Provide Tier 1 support for VoIP telephony systems, ensuring seamless communication for Tinker AFB personnel.
- Operate and maintain databases, configurations, and system updates for analog and VoIP telephone systems, ensuring optimal performance and security.
- Support phone activation and deactivation, moves or location changes, PIN resets, Caller ID updates/changes, and voicemail setup or updates, providing exceptional customer service.
- Support configuration database updates in CUCM/TMS/E911, ensuring compliance with industry standards.
- 2+ years of experience supporting VoIP and analog telephone systems, with a strong background in telecommunications.
- Security+ CE certification and knowledge of Cisco VoIP solutions.
- Experience with a telecommunications management system is desired.
- Motivated, self-starter with excellent customer service skills and ability to adapt quickly to a rapidly changing environment.
- Effective interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to work in a team environment.
- Must be a US citizen and hold a current Secret clearance.
