Peer Recovery Support Specialist/Wellness Coach Level 2: Community Based

Job Summary:
NorthCare is seeking a dedicated Peer Recovery Support Specialist to join our compassionate team. As a Peer Recovery Support Specialist/Wellness Coach, you will provide comprehensive, integrated services that are culturally competent and trauma-informed.
Key Responsibilities:
- Advocate for clients within our community and NorthCare, ensuring they receive the support needed for recovery and independent living.
- Conduct health promotion activities, including vital checks, health education, and lifestyle interventions.
- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to support behavior change and treatment goals.
- Maintain accurate clinical records and meet productivity expectations outlined by management.
Requirements:
- Certification as an ODMHSAS Peer Recovery Support Specialist and Wellness Coach (or obtainable within 60 days of hire).
- Experience in community mental health or related fields preferred.
- Proficiency in MS Word and general computer skills.
- Commitment to maintaining CPR, First Aid, and other required certifications.
