Job Overview

We are seeking a Licensed Transportation Engineer to join our Roadway team in Fayetteville, AR. As a key member of our team, you will perform various engineering and project management duties on roadway projects, including preparing planning and design documents, processing design calculations, and preparing cost estimates.

You will collaborate with other Olsson teams, professional staff, technical staff, and clients to deliver high-quality projects. Travel to job sites for observation and attend client meetings as needed.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in civil engineering, with an emphasis in transportation preferred
  • Minimum of 4+ years of related engineering experience
  • Experience with MicroStation Open Roads Designer or AutoCAD Civil 3D
  • Registered Professional Engineer (PE) in the state of Arkansas, or the ability to obtain within six months
  • Knowledge of municipal and DOT standards and procedures
  • Strong communication skills
  • Ability to contribute and work well on a team
