Job Summary

We're seeking a highly skilled Geotechnical Engineer to join our team in Paducah, KY. As a key member of our geotechnical section, you'll be responsible for planning, executing, and completing geotechnical tasks on assigned projects. This includes reviewing design and construction submittals for geotechnical compliance, performing technical analyses, and coordinating with designers and contractors.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct geotechnical investigations and design activities for transportation infrastructure, dams, levees, hydraulic structures, and railroads.
  • Develop and execute designs using spreadsheets and MATHCAD, and prepare proposals and reports.
  • Collaborate with internal and external clients to ensure geotechnical compliance and project success.
  • Support the development of technical scope of works and fee proposals, and respond to RFPs related to geotechnical services.
Requirements
  • BSCE degree or higher in geotechnical engineering.
  • 4 years of demonstrated experience in geotechnical engineering and transportation infrastructure, dams, levees, hydraulic structures, and railroads.
  • PE with the ability to obtain KY/TN through reciprocity.
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office applications and geotechnical software, including gINT, Slope/W, and APILE.
